Bar Code Printing

Although vector or raster graphic programs have plug-ins to generate bar codes, bar codes are often serialized or are unique according to model/ style, color, size, or dimension. It is usually better to use label design software that is meant to generate bar codes on the fly. Unless you are designing static layouts for plates in the case of offset or flexo-graphic printing, it is better to use bar code/ label design software.

Time for Another Cup of Coffee

I've been busy all day editing photos, and let's just say another cup of coffee is in order. What have I been doing? Sorting through a photo shoot I did of a coffee shot, ironically. From patrons to coffee beans to espresso drinks to lattes, I photographed it all and I'm exhausted. Now the shop owner wants me to help her maintain her coffee blog. There may not be time for a freelancer to sleep, but at least there's always another shot of espresso around the corner.

For the pupil part where you say "Draw circle and feather 1 px," the tutorial is not clear.

Do not use the Shape tool. Instead, use the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a circle. Then in the upper menu, go to Select > Modify > Feather. Choose 1px.

Then you can use the Paint Bucket tool to fill with black.
