Tall Poppy Syndrome at SXC

posted by buzzybee, Mar 29, 2007 4:54 AM — 5 comments

People with Tall Poppy Syndrome cut down those they feel are doing better than themselves. It is immature and pointless and leaves a sour taste in the mouth of those trying to help others. For the pupil part where you say "Draw circle and feather 1 px," the tutorial is not clear.

Do not use the Shape tool. Instead, use the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a circle. Then in the upper menu, go to Select > Modify > Feather. Choose 1px.

Then you can use the Paint Bucket tool to fill with black.
