It doesn't mean they're bad.

My various photos, unusable anywhere or just taken by accident or some funny cell phone.. didn't have an idea what to do with them, but did just as You, i've put those i like to some funny site and they are alive.

Hi Dimitri, I've got to say, something is seriously fishy with sxc rejecting your amazingly awesome photos. Perhaps istock doesn't want too many high quality
free images here, as they're looking to make a profit somehow from their presence/partnership here.

I think you have to follow the money here......

For the pupil part where you say "Draw circle and feather 1 px," the tutorial is not clear.

Do not use the Shape tool. Instead, use the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a circle. Then in the upper menu, go to Select > Modify > Feather. Choose 1px.

Then you can use the Paint Bucket tool to fill with black.
