Bad news
posted by Lucretious, Jan 13, 2006 8:15 PM — 5 commentsBad news today guys...A cadet lieutenant was found dead near a greek outpost and it's a cause of great grief among us. Even though I didn't knew the guy, the fact that he was another "comarade in arms", serving in similar conditions with us makes me fell like shit. Our superior officers tried to persuade us (and the media) that he committed suicide, but it seems his body was brutally abused before his death. He was patrolling alone along the border and maybe he saw something he shouldn't have have seen. Anyway, these are only suspicions... the fact that remains is the loss of another life in this death machine we all serve...

Well, it seems that, no matter what kind of life a person lives, there seems to be the immanent possibility of a brutal death for each and every one of us. That your Superior Officers tried to reshape your minds into thinking that he committed suicide is terrible. We all know what goes on during any war. But eh. ^__^ Sad as it might have been, it is all in the past now... Hopefully. Though I do feel terrible for his relatives and other relationships.

For the pupil part where you say "Draw circle and feather 1 px," the tutorial is not clear.
Do not use the Shape tool. Instead, use the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a circle. Then in the upper menu, go to Select > Modify > Feather. Choose 1px.
Then you can use the Paint Bucket tool to fill with black.
