BACK UP YOUR IMAGES!

Lucky for Norton Backup I was able to save my images from my latest trip after a system bog down. I still need to back up most of my photos from the last few months but no doubt many of you do as well.

A few years ago, I had one computer stolen with all the images of my youngest child between when he was about 1 year and two. All I have left are the images I sent to others during that time.

There are quite a few places you can save them online for safe keeping as well.

More than anything this is just a reminder to us all.

BACK UP YOUR IMAGES.

I'm backing up twice. Once on a partition of my laptop drive and on an extern harddrive. I think this should be enough .. at least I hope so.

But you're right. Without saving it's just too risky.

Yes!...thanks for the reminder. Losing those shots of your child must be devestating. Great that at least you got a few back.

For the pupil part where you say "Draw circle and feather 1 px," the tutorial is not clear.

Do not use the Shape tool. Instead, use the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a circle. Then in the upper menu, go to Select > Modify > Feather. Choose 1px.

Then you can use the Paint Bucket tool to fill with black.
