For realism, I'd say mjw or nsoup win.
Just depends on the judging criteria.

Hey, my second entry is not in it, and that one is soooo much better then my first.
My vote goes to Dinok's entry, although the head is much more tanned then her arms.

somewhere inbetween assiewin's and mjw for me, they got that filmy quality... I agree this was fun, and the entries show a good variety. More than one way to skin a cat. For the next I'd be interested to hear how much time was spent on each entry, just for fun.

Not that long but I wasn't timing it and I live in a semi-permanent state of disassociation anyway.

For the pupil part where you say "Draw circle and feather 1 px," the tutorial is not clear.
Do not use the Shape tool. Instead, use the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a circle. Then in the upper menu, go to Select > Modify > Feather. Choose 1px.
Then you can use the Paint Bucket tool to fill with black.
