| » | Fetching water 2 Houses in most Indian villages do not have piped water facility. All members of the family have to do their bit to get the day's water requirement. Here two girls carry vessels filled with water from the lake to their home which is about a kilometer away. I request not to use this image in connection with child labour because these children are neither paid nor forced by anyone to do it. They are simply extending a helping hand to their family just as an American or a European child might mow the garden or rake snow. |
